After holding management positions in various hotel groups such as Sheraton Hotels & Resorts, Dorint Hotels & Resorts, the NH Hotel Group and AccorHotels, Sascha Hampe took over the management of the Mercure Hotel Saarbrücken Süd under the management of the GCH Hotel Group in 2011. From 2015 to 2018, he was responsible for the hotels in the Berlin region, one of the most important and dynamic hotel markets in Germany. Due to his outstanding performance, Sascha Hampe was appointed Chief Operating Officer of the GCH Hotel Group in 2018 and Chief Executive Officer in October 2019.
In his position as CEO, he is responsible for more than 80 hotels with around 15,000 rooms in Germany and Austria, over three million guests a year and around 3,300 employees. Thanks to his management style with a focus on teamwork and the word ‘we’, he is highly valued by employees.
In addition to guests and employees, Sascha Hampe prioritises investors and hotel owners: ‘My goal is to motivate us and our employees so that our entire hotel portfolio is managed as if we owned every single hotel.’ For Hampe, healthy growth that is compatible for everyone involved is essential for the strategic future of the company.

Bodo Sikora is Area Vice President for the North and Berlin regions and is responsible for the operational orientation of the hotels.
The trained hotel manager learnt the hotel business from the bottom up: as a receptionist at the Hotel am Zoo in Berlin, as deputy reception manager at the Berlin Excelsior Hotel and finally as hotel manager at the Berlin Mark Hotel. After the reopening of the Mark Apart Hotel in Berlin following its core refurbishment, Mr Sikora took over the Berlin Mark Hotel and the Mark Apart Hotel as Cluster Director. Shortly afterwards, he became Managing Director and Director of Operations of all 23 Mark Hotels. Finally, he was appointed Area Vice President of the GCH Hotel Group and later took over the position of Senior Vice President of Operations.
Bodo Sikora sees the GCH Hotel Group as a company with growth potential: ‘There is justified hope that the growth of the GCH Hotel Group will continue at the same pace and that the portfolio of hotels to be managed will grow steadily. It is therefore extremely important to further expand the cluster structures in the regions. At the same time, it is important to improve the products and thus strengthen their position on the market.

Jörg Schiffmann is Senior Vice President Operations & Projects at the GCH Hotel Group.
Before joining the GCH Hotel Group, Jörg Schiffmann proved himself in various high-end management positions: Most recently, Mr Schiffmann worked for the Steigenberger Hotel Group, where he was responsible for the position of Vice President Operations. Prior to that, he was under contract with the Carlson Rezidor Group for 12 years, most recently as Area Vice President Operations for Central Europe.
Prior to that, he gained experience as Regional Director and General Manager in various hotels of the Group in America, Russia and Europe. The trained chef, business economist and graduate of Cornell University (Ithaca/USA) has worked as a manager in the hotel industry for over 30 years.
At the GCH Hotel Group, Jörg Schiffmann is responsible for the implementation of all operational measures to monitor success as well as for the safeguarding and further development of operational hotel standards in the West, East, Central and South regions. Together with the successfully operating regions, he ensures a high level of stakeholder satisfaction.

Tino Bauer began his career as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of the F&B area at the Crowne Plaza Hamburg. With his extensive experience as General Manager for well-known hotel brands such as Ramada, Best Western, Grand City Hotels and the Wyndham Group, he quickly rose to senior management at the GCH Hotel Group in 2008. In recognition of his exceptional leadership qualities, he was honoured with the title ‘General Manager of the Year’ in 2016.
After several years as Area Vice President Region Central & South, Tino Bauer took on a new role as Vice President of Special Projects & Future Openings in 2023. In his current role, Mr Bauer leads project-related tasks, manages and administers special projects, future hotel openings and drives operational and administrative optimisations across the company.

Johanna Peres is responsible for the Commercial Services, Sales, Revenue Management & Distribution and Marketing & Digital departments at the GCH Hotel Group.
Johanna Peres recognised her passion for the hotel industry at an early age and specialised in hotel marketing from the start of her career. After completing a classic hotel management apprenticeship at Steigenberger Hotels, Peres initially started in marketing in the 5-star hotel industry and then moved to a smaller hotel company, where she was responsible for Corporate & Leisure Sales as well as Marketing and Revenue Management. After joining the GCH Hotel Group in 2010, Johanna Peres was initially responsible for the South Area as Area Director Sales & Marketing and later also for the Central Area. From 2017, the passionate manager was responsible for the company's entire sales organisation. Since June 2021, she has been in charge of the entire commercial division of the GCH Hotel Group.
With her interdisciplinary expertise, efficient communication style and innovative work processes, Johanna Peres makes a significant contribution to the expansion of strategic partnerships as well as the further development and growth of the company. She sees repositioning and fresh concepts in the hotels as the secret to the group's success: ‘More investment and a focus on process optimisation, digitalisation and sustainability play an important role in continuing to operate successfully in the market and responding to the far-reaching changes in the current environment.
