A total of 228 guest rooms and suites belong to the hotel. Standard room equipment includes a bathroom with either a baht tub or a shower, a work desk, an LCD flat-screen TV and free high-speed Wi-Fi. The hotel rooms of the standard category are available as single or double room and measure between 17 and 18 square metres. The 13 suites offer superior comfort. From the third floor up, the rooms feature a balcony with a breathtaking view over the Taunus, Eifel, Westerwald and Hunsrück mountain ranges.

A choice of restaurants with over 500 seats

With one restaurant and a bar the restaurant offers a rich gastronomic variety. The Park Restaurant on the ground floor seats approx. 400 and is used for breakfast and half board. Snacks and chilled drinks are served at the hotel bar. In summer, the terrace with approx. 60 seats opens in the shade of the trees in front of the Park Restaurant. Enjoy exclusive events such as birthdays, weddings, and more on the 15th floor in another restaurant with approximately 140 seats, international cuisine, and a fantastic view over the Rhine Valley.

Hiking in Koblenz Lahnstein: Trails, tips and guided hiking tours

Hans Walter is the hiking expert at the Wyndham Garden Lahnstein Koblenz Hotel. For years, he has been guiding our hotel guests through gorges, valleys and over rocks with great views. You are welcome to request his services at the reception. Walter is available for € 30.00 per hour for groups of about 40 people. Exclusively for our hotel guests, he has put together his favourite trail that leads over a part of the "Rheinsteg":

Hiking trail “Ruppertusklamm” in Lahnstein

The Ruppertusklamm in Lahnstein is one of the highlights of the Rheinsteig. A small stream has dug the gorge about 2 kilometers deep into argillaceous slate and sandstone. At the most difficult spots, you will find stairs carved into the rocks, bridges or ropes to hold on to. But you should still be very careful when it is wet. The mossy rocks become very slippery.

The gorge is easily accessible from the B260 road. You access the gorge through a wooden gate. The trail starts off as a normal hiking path, but soon it becomes steeper and sometimes you will have to hold on to the ropes. On the peak, you will reach the, unfortunately closed, cottage “Ruppertsklamm”. The whole trail can easily be finished within more or less an hour.

Deutsches Eck

The Deutsches Eck (German Corner) is where the rivers Rhine and Moselle meet. It is a popular tourist attraction and World Heritage site in the Upper Middle Rhine Valley.
